Marc Spilker is a Co-Founder of GPS Investment Partners LLC, and the Chairman of Chiron Investment Management LLC. From 2010 to 2014 he was President of Apollo Global Management and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In 2010, prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Spilker retired from Goldman Sachs following a 20-year career with the firm. At Goldman he served as co-head of the Investment Management Division (IMD) and was also a member of the firmwide Management and Risk Committees.

Mr. Spilker previously served on the Investment Advisory Committee at Google and was a member of the American Stock Exchange, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Council of Economic and Fiscal Advisors for Governor Andrew Cuomo. He has served on the boards of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, the Stone and Bridge Street Funds, BrokerTec and Bondbook, LLC.

Mr. Spilker is a board member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board, iSentium, LLC, Speed Vegas, LLC, The New 42nd Street, Inc., The Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine Advisory Board at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Advisory Board for Mount Sinai’s Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology. Additionally, he serves on the Third Way Board of Trustees, where he is the Founder of Third Way’s Capital Markets Initiative, he is a member of the Social Finance, Inc. Advisory Council and chairs the RFK Leadership Council at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Mr. Spilker received the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award in 2010 and he is a recipient of the 2016 Wharton Alumni Award for Distinguished Service. He is a committed supporter of independent public affairs documentaries and has provided funding for three prime time PBS specials, all of which received critical acclaim and numerous awards. These films include Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century: The Resurgence (PBS 2007), Jerusalem: Center of the World (PBS, 2009), and The Jewish Journey: America (PBS, 2015). Mr. Spilker also supported an independently produced documentary short about the life of pianist Byron Janis and a five-part media series for The New 42nd Street, Inc.

Mr. Spilker graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Scott Prince is a Co-Founder of GPS Investment Partners and Vice Chairman of Chiron Investment Management. Mr. Prince is also actively involved in several real estate businesses including a position on the board of Apollo Commercial Real Estate.  He is currently a Partner of Maxim Capital Group, a real estate investment and lending platform where he is a Member of the Board and Chairman of the Risk Committee. Mr. Prince was formerly Co-Managing Partner of Skybridge Capital from 2007 until January 2012. Prior to Skybridge, Mr. Prince was a Partner at Eton Park Capital Management from launch in 2004 until 2007, heading global trading and the fund’s derivatives business. Mr. Prince was Co-head of Equities Trading and Global Equity Derivatives at Goldman Sachs through 2004, named a Goldman Sachs Partner in 1998, and served on the firm’s Finance Committee, Equity Division’s Risk and Operating Committees. He was a Director of the International Securities Exchange from 2002 to 2004. He is a Board Member of the Hope and Heroes Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Nourish Snacks. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

 

 

Enrico Gaglioti is Chief Executive Officer of Chiron Investment Management and a Co-founder of GPS Investment Partners. Mr. Gaglioti was formerly a Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co where he served as the Global Head of Equity Sales and most recently served as an advisory director of Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division.  Mr. Gaglioti started at Goldman Sachs in 1998, was named Managing Director in 2001, and Partner in 2002. He served on the Firmwide Business Standards Committee, Securities Division Executive and Operating Committees, as well as the Hedge Fund/Private Equity Screening Committee. Mr. Gaglioti is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Don Bosco Prep High School, and he serves as a member on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the Board of Advisors of James Madison University’s College of Business, Board of the James Madison University Foundation, and board member of Speed Vegas, LLC. Effective February 2017, Mr. Gaglioti serves as a Director of Chiron Funds ICAV, an Irish collective asset-management vehicle, with a sub-fund, Chiron Global Opportunities Fund, organized as UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities).  He earned a BBA from James Madison University College of Business in 1994.

 

Ryan Caldwell is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Chiron Investment Management, LLC. From 2000 through the end of his tenure as co-portfolio manager in 2014, he helped lead portfolio management decision-making at Waddell & Reed for a suite of funds totaling $40 billion, including Ivy Asset Strategy, W&R Asset Strategy, and Ivy Funds/VIP. He was named to the Institutional Investors list of ‘Rising Stars of Mutual Funds’ in 2009, and in 2007 was a finalist for Morningstar Manager of the Year.  He serves as board adviser to Haymon Boxing/Premier Boxing Champions and has previously served as a Director to Delta Topco Group, as well as a board adviser to Legendary Entertainment.  Ryan holds a B.B.A from Texas State University.  Effective February 2017, Mr. Caldwell serves as a Director for Chiron Funds ICAV, an Irish collective asset-management vehicle, with a sub-fund, Chiron Global Opportunities Fund, organized as UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities).

 

 

Kirsten Pickens is a Partner and Head of Distribution for Chiron Investment Management. Formerly, she was Senior Vice President and Head of National Accounts and Retirement Sales for Ivy Funds Distributor, Inc., a subsidiary of Waddell & Reed, which she joined in 2003. She is credited with driving the rapid growth of Ivy Funds by building a National Accounts Team and getting platform access across broker dealers in all distribution channels. In 2010, she was awarded “Rising Star of Mutual Funds” by Institutional Investor. Prior to Waddell & Reed, Kirsten was with ING Funds, where she was VP, National Account Director for the Independent/Regional Channel and at Seligman funds in various distribution roles. Mrs. Pickens started her career in the financial services industry at Vanguard as a Retirement Specialist, and worked for Pilgrim Funds in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Major in Justice Studies and a minor in Pre-Law. Kirsten is a Member of the Sales Force Marketing Committee of the Investment Company Institute, and a Member of Money Management Institute.  She holds her Series 24, Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 FINRA securities licenses.

 

 

Kristen A. Richards is Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director of Chiron Investment Management. Ms. Richards has 20 years of experience in the mutual fund/'40 Act industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company/Ivy Investment Management Company. Ms. Richards earned her law degree from the University of Kansas in 1995 and began her career, in 1995, at Waddell & Reed/Ivy, on behalf of its registered investment advisers, where she was instrumental in building the Investment Management Compliance Department. Over the course of her 20 years with Waddell/Ivy, Ms. Richards has also served as Secretary to the Waddell/Ivy registered investment companies, whereby she was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the mutual fund disclosure documents, as well as responsible for fund governance with regard to the mutual fund board of trustees.  Ms. Richards was instrumental in the adoption and establishment of the firm's UCITs fund channel, Ivy Global Investors, which launched in 2014.  In addition to her law degree/license, Ms. Richards has also earned and maintains her Series 7 and Series 24 FINRA securities licenses.

 

 

 

Brian Cho, CFA, is a portfolio manager and Head of Quantitative Research for Chiron Investment Management.  In 2002, Mr. Cho co-founded Empirical Research Partners LLC, an independent research boutique where he served as Partner and Director of Quantitative Research. He managed all quantitative research efforts for the firm. During his tenure, the research team achieved the highest two rankings in the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team each year from 2003 through 2014 in both the Portfolio Strategy and Quantitative Research categories. Prior to his role at ERP, he worked at SC Bernstein from 1993 to 2002.  Mr. Cho is a CFA charter holder, graduated from MIT in 1990, and holds his Series 24, Series 7, and Series 63 FINRA securities licenses.

 

 

 

Grant Sarris, CFA, is a portfolio manager for Chiron Investment Management. He was previously a PM at Kornitzer Capital Management, Inc. from 2003 to 2013, where he was a co-manager on a number of equity mutual funds, including the Buffalo Small Cap Fund, Buffalo Mid Cap Fund, and Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund.  Prior to joining Kornitzer Capital Management, he was a portfolio manager with Waddell & Reed, where he was a co-manager on the Waddell & Reed Advisors Small Cap Fund and Ivy Small Cap Growth Fund (formerly W&R Small Cap Growth Fund).  He was employed there from 1991 to 2003. From 2013 to September 2015, Mr. Sarris managed his personal portfolio. Mr. Sarris is a CFA charter holder. He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BA from the University of Wisconsin.

 

 

John Paul (JP) Armenio is Chief Administrative Officer to Chiron Investment Management, contributing to the Firm’s efforts in international distribution, media and communications, and product development.  The last several years JP has led Tantalus Capital’s activities as a venture investor, advisor, and co-founder of several early stage technology companies. Until 2012, JP served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mizuho Securities Asia Limited, the Japanese Mega-Bank’s Asian operations hub based in Hong Kong.  From 1995 until 2008, JP was with Morgan Stanley in Tokyo, New York, and San Francisco, and served as Managing Director and Global Head of Structured Products for the Global Wealth Management Division.  He served as Americas Head of Structured Products Distribution for the Institutional Securities Division, having responsibility for solutions across equities, rates, commodities, and FX asset classes.  JP sat on the Promotion and New Products Committees for the Equity Division, and was Divisional Head of Wharton Recruiting.  He also served on GWM’s Alternative Investment Due Diligence Committee.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, JP worked for Bankers Trust and Shuwa Investments in the areas of real estate finance and real estate management.  JP has an MBA from The Wharton School in Finance, and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College.

Shailendra P. Panchal is Chief Risk Officer of Chiron Investment Management.  Prior to joining Chiron, Mr. Panchal spent 15 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., including the last 10 years as a senior risk manager in the Global Securities Services business of the firm. He brings extensive experience in risk oversight across multi-asset class portfolios encompassing a wide variety of strategies. Mr. Panchal holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (with the highest rank among his graduating class) from the Gujarat University, India.

 

 

 

Peter Bianco is Head of Trading for Chiron Investment Management. Mr. Bianco was formerly Head of Trading in New York for Caxton Associates, a multi-billion dollar Global Macro Hedge Fund.  In his roles at Caxton from 2011 to 2014, he managed a team of traders in London and New York. Prior to joining Caxton, he had roles in trading and as an Analyst at Citigroup and GLS Capital. He graduated from Lehigh University in 2005.

Darren Cde Baca joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Advisor Consultant on our  Distribution team covering the Northwest Coast. Darren has been working in the financial securities business since 1982.  Previous to joining Ivy Funds as an institutional liaison, he was with Dreyfus where he was both wholesaling and managing the retail and institutional distribution for the Western half of the United States.  Prior to joining Dreyfus, Darren served as the National Sales Manager for The Royce Funds in New York City.  He also spent 12 years at PaineWebber (now UBS) in various National and Regional marketing responsibilities. Darren obtained his B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1982 and holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA Securities Licenses.

Previously Kim served as a Retirement Specialist at Ivy Funds covering the Southwest Region and between 2010 through 2014 was a Senior Regional Sales Specialist covering western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and Upstate New York.  Kim received a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Kansas.

Previously, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was a top-ranked equity research analyst covering the publicly traded Asset Managers in the firm’s Global Investment Research division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2005, Marc was an equity research analyst in the research divisions of Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Securities. He graduated from Cornell University in 1995 and is a member of the NY/NJ regional fundraising committee for the Cornell Annual Fund.

Jordan Juenemann joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as an Internal Client Consultant covering the Northwest and Southwest territories on our Distribution team. Previously Jordan served as a Regional Sales Specialist at Ivy Funds. Prior to that, Jordan began his career as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual. Jordan also played basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks under Coach Bill Self earning a scholarship his senior year. During his tenure, he was an Academic All-American, four-time Big 12 champion, and the Jayhawks made a run to the Final Four National Championship game.

Bill Kelly joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Advisor Consultant on our Distribution team and Client Service team, covering the East Coast.   Bill is a 20 year veteran in the financial services industry and prior to joining Chiron, he was a Partner at Kopernik Global Investors, LLC and before that, a Director at International Value Advisers, LLC where he served in a similar role.  Bill started his career Oppenheimer & Co. where he went on to serve as a Managing Director in their Asset Management Group and later moved to Merrill Lynch where he was a Wealth Management Specialist in the Managed Solutions Group (MSG) based in the New York City Region.  Billy graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.  

 

 

 

Michelle Lancaster joined Chiron Investment Management in October 2015 as an Executive Assistant; in October 2016, Ms. Lancaster added Compliance Analyst responsibilities to her role.  Previously, she served as a Senior Executive Assistant and Business Development Administrator at Mariner Holdings/Mariner Wealth Advisors.  From 2008 to 2013, Ms. Lancaster served as Legal Assistant for the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner.  Ms. Lancaster earned a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Washburn University. 

Zhe Liu is a quantitative analyst for Chiron Investment Management. He is a published author in the field of theoretical particle physics with a specialty in strong interaction. He has carried out a series of rigorous theoretical research on Higgs particle production and jet energy loss mechanism in high energy particle collisions. He received his Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from Columbia University and Bachelor degree from Fudan University, Shanghai.

Phil O'Brien joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Advisor Consultant on our Distribution team, covering the Great Lakes Region. Phil has been working in the financial securities business since 1997. Prior to joining Chiron, he was a regional director for the Midwest Region at William Blair & Company and before that Phil was an account manager for Morningstar, where he sold institutional software to asset managers and consultants. Earlier in his career, he worked as a financial planner for AYCO, providing financial planning to employees of Fortune 1000 companies. Before that, he was a retirement plan regional sales director for Wachovia in the Northwestern states. Phil graduated from Indiana University with a Masters in Journalism and from University College of Dublin with Masters in History.  Phil holds his Series 7, and 63 FINRA Securities Licenses.

David Portal, Managing Director:  David Portal joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director on  our Distribution team covering the Southeast Coast.  David is a 27-year veteran in the financial services industry.  Prior to joining Chiron, he was a Regional Vice President with Ivy Investments for 13 years covering Florida and Puerto Rico.  Prior to joining Ivy Funds, he held several sales and management roles with Mackenzie Financial for 4 years before it was acquired by Waddell and Reed.  Prior to joining Mackenzie Financial, he spent close to 10 years as a financial advisor with various firms culminating with Citibank. David holds a Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA Securities Licenses.

 

 

John Simmons is a quantitative analyst for Chiron Investment Management. He is a published author in the field of Earth Systems Sciences with a specialty in disaster and crop yield prediction. Mr. Simmons has contributed statistical support to both the National Aeronautical Space Administration and the United Nations. John recently received a Bachelor’s of Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Masters of the Arts from Columbia University.

 

 

 

 

Pat is a fundamental research analyst, primarily focused on Emerging Markets for Chiron Investment Management.  Previously, Pat was an analyst at Waddell & Reed from 2007 to 2016, where he covered IT Services, Medical Devices and the Indian Equity Market. Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, he was a telecom engineer at Tellabs and Vertel Corp.  He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Frank Vilardi is the Controller and oversees Operations for Chiron Investment Management, LLC.  Mr. Vilardi brings 15 years of experience in Asset Management for Public and Privately owned companies where he held similar roles.  Mr. Vilardi is a CPA and began his career working his first 7 years in Public Accounting, where he performed Auditing, Tax and Advisory Services. for both Public and Privately owned companies.

Scott Wen focuses on product development for Chiron Investment Management.  Mr. Wen was formerly a Director of Quantitative Products and Research at Guggenheim Partners. Prior to Guggenheim, he was a Vice President at Swiss Reinsurance Co. in the Capital Management and Advisory division working on equity structured products origination.  Mr. Wen started his career in 2001 at Goldman Sachs in the Equities division as a trader/financial engineer and later moved to the Asset Management division as a portfolio manager in the Quantitative Equity group.  He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University

Michael Williams joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as an Internal Client Consultant covering the Northeast and Southeast territories on our Distribution team. Prior to joining Chiron, Michael was an Internal Sales Specialist with Ivy Funds Distributors, Inc.  During his time on the Ivy Funds sales team Michael covered both wire houses and independent broker-dealers throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Michael began his career in financial services at Waddell & Reed/Ivy Funds within their Client Services department, as a Client Service Representative. During his time in this role he handled various account disputes and discrepancy matters, for both shareholders and financial advisors. Michael currently holds the Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 licenses. 

Allen Williamson joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Senior Relationship Manager.  He was previously head of the Private Wealth Group for Guggenheim Investments, which was dedicated to serving Private Wealth advisors at select firms and work exclusively with high net worth and ultra high net worth clientele.  understanding of high net worth advisors and investors. He joined Guggenheim Investments in 2009.  Prior to Guggenheim Investments, Mr. Williamson served as group president of Nuveen Investments’ Managed Assets Group, where he developed and led a consultative-based, multi-disciplined product and services platform and built wealth management. Mr. Williamson earned a B.A. in international studies from the University of South Carolina, a Certified Investment Management Analyst  (CIMA®) designation and a Certificate in Alternative Investments from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is series 7, 24, and 66 registered.

Shailendra P. Panchal is Chief Risk Officer of Chiron Investment Management.  Prior to joining Chiron, Mr. Panchal spent 15 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., including the last 10 years as a senior risk manager in the Global Securities Services business of the firm. He brings extensive experience in risk oversight across multi-asset class portfolios encompassing a wide variety of strategies. Scott Prince is a Co-Founder of GPS Investment Partners and Vice Chairman of Chiron Investment Management. Mr. Prince is also actively involved in several real estate businesses including a position on the board of Apollo Commercial Real Estate.  He is currently a Partner of Maxim Capital Group, a real estate investment and lending platform where he is a Member of the Board and Chairman of the Risk Committee. Mr. Prince was formerly Co-Managing Partner of Skybridge Capital from 2007 until January 2012. Prior to Skybridge, Mr. Prince was a Partner at Eton Park Capital Management from launch in 2004 until 2007, heading global trading and the fund’s derivatives business. Mr. Prince was Co-head of Equities Trading and Global Equity Derivatives at Goldman Sachs through 2004, named a Goldman Sachs Partner in 1998, and served on the firm’s Finance Committee, Equity Division’s Risk and Operating Committees. He was a Director of the International Securities Exchange from 2002 to 2004. He is a Board Member of the Hope and Heroes Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Nourish Snacks. Bill Kelly joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Advisor Consultant on our Distribution team and Client Service team, covering the East Coast.   Bill is a 20 year veteran in the financial services industry and prior to joining Chiron, he was a Partner at Kopernik Global Investors, LLC and before that, a Director at International Value Advisers, LLC where he served in a similar role.  Bill started his career Oppenheimer & Co. where he went on to serve as a Managing Director in their Asset Management Group and later moved to Merrill Lynch where he was a Wealth Management Specialist in the Managed Solutions Group (MSG) based in the New York City Region.  Billy graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.

Kirsten Pickens is a Partner and Head of Distribution for Chiron Investment Management. Formerly, she was Senior Vice President and Head of National Accounts and Retirement Sales for Ivy Funds Distributor, Inc., a subsidiary of Waddell & Reed, which she joined in 2003. She is credited with driving the rapid growth of Ivy Funds by building a National Accounts Team and getting platform access across broker dealers in all distribution channels. In 2010, she was awarded “Rising Star of Mutual Funds” by Institutional Investor. Prior to Waddell & Reed, Kirsten was with ING Funds, where she was VP, National Account Director for the Independent/Regional Channel and at Seligman funds in various distribution roles. Mrs. Pickens started her career in the financial services industry at Vanguard as a Retirement Specialist, and worked for Pilgrim Funds in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Major in Justice Studies and a minor in Pre-Law. Kirsten is a Member of the Sales Force Marketing Committee of the Investment Company Institute, and a Member of Money Management Institute.  She holds her Series 24, Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 FINRA securities licenses.

Jordan Juenemann joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as an Internal Client Consultant covering the Northwest and Southwest territories on our Distribution team. Previously Jordan served as a Regional Sales Specialist at Ivy Funds. Prior to that, Jordan began his career as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual. Jordan earned his M.B.A and bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. He holds Series 7, Series 6, and Series 63 FINRA securities licenses. Jordan also played basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks under Coach Bill Self earning a scholarship his senior year. Grant Sarris, CFA, is a portfolio manager for Chiron Investment Management. He was previously a PM at Kornitzer Capital Management, Inc. from 2003 to 2013, where he was a co-manager on a number of equity mutual funds, including the Buffalo Small Cap Fund, Buffalo Mid Cap Fund, and Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund.  Prior to joining Kornitzer Capital Management, he was a portfolio manager with Waddell & Reed, where he was a co-manager on the Waddell & Reed Advisors Small Cap Fund and Ivy Small Cap Growth Fund (formerly W&R Small Cap Growth Fund).  He was employed there from 1991 to 2003. From 2013 to September 2015, Mr. Sarris managed his personal portfolio. Mr. Sarris is a CFA charter holder. He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BA from the University of Wisconsin.

Kristen A. Richards is Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director of Chiron Investment Management. Ms. Richards has 20 years of experience in the mutual fund/'40 Act industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company/Ivy Investment Management Company. Ms. Richards earned her law degree from the University of Kansas in 1995 and began her career, in 1995, at Waddell & Reed/Ivy, on behalf of its registered investment advisers, where she was instrumental in building the Investment Management Compliance Department. Over the course of her 20 years with Waddell/Ivy, Ms. Richards has also served as Secretary to the Waddell/Ivy registered investment companies, whereby she was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the mutual fund disclosure documents, as well as responsible for fund governance with regard to the mutual fund board of trustees.  Ms. Richards was instrumental in the adoption and establishment of the firm's UCITs fund channel, Ivy Global Investors, which launched in 2014.  In addition to her law degree/license, Ms. Richards has also earned and maintains her Series 7 and Series 24 FINRA securities licenses.

Ryan Caldwell is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Chiron Investment Management, LLC. From 2000 through the end of his tenure as co-portfolio manager in 2014, he helped lead portfolio management decision-making at Waddell & Reed for a suite of funds totaling $40 billion, including Ivy Asset Strategy, W&R Asset Strategy, and Ivy Funds/VIP. Marc Spilker is a Co-Founder of GPS Investment Partners LLC, and the Chairman of Chiron Investment Management LLC. From 2010 to 2014 he was President of Apollo Global Management and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In 2010, prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Spilker retired from Goldman Sachs following a 20-year career with the firm. At Goldman he served as co-head of the Investment Management Division (IMD) and was also a member of the firmwide Management and Risk Committees.

Mr. Spilker previously served on the Investment Advisory Committee at Google and was a member of the American Stock Exchange, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Council of Economic and Fiscal Advisors for Governor Andrew Cuomo. He has served on the boards of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, the Stone and Bridge Street Funds, BrokerTec and Bondbook, LLC.

Mr. Spilker is a board member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board, iSentium, LLC, Speed Vegas, LLC, The New 42nd Street, Inc., The Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine Advisory Board at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Advisory Board for Mount Sinai’s Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology. Additionally, he serves on the Third Way Board of Trustees, where he is the Founder of Third Way’s Capital Markets Initiative, he is a member of the Social Finance, Inc. Advisory Council and chairs the RFK Leadership Council at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Mr. Spilker received the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award in 2010 and he is a recipient of the 2016 Wharton Alumni Award for Distinguished Service. He is a committed supporter of independent public affairs documentaries and has provided funding for three prime time PBS specials, all of which received critical acclaim and numerous awards. These films include Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century: The Resurgence (PBS 2007), Jerusalem: Center of the World (PBS, 2009), and The Jewish Journey: America (PBS, 2015). Mr. Spilker also supported an independently produced documentary short about the life of pianist Byron Janis and a five-part media series for The New 42nd Street, Inc.

Darren Cde Baca joined Chiron Investment Management, LLC as a Managing Director, Advisor Consultant on our  Distribution team covering the Northwest Coast. Darren has been working in the financial securities business since 1982.  Previous to joining Ivy Funds as an institutional liaison, he was with Dreyfus where he was both wholesaling and managing the retail and institutional distribution for the Western half of the United States.  Prior to joining Dreyfus, Darren served as the National Sales Manager for The Royce Funds in New York City.  He also spent 12 years at PaineWebber (now UBS) in various National and Regional marketing responsibilities. Enrico Gaglioti is Chief Executive Officer of Chiron Investment Management and a Co-founder of GPS Investment Partners. Mr. Gaglioti was formerly a Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co where he served as the Global Head of Equity Sales and most recently served as an advisory director of Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division. Mr. Gaglioti started at Goldman Sachs in 1998, was named Managing Director in 2001, and Partner in 2002. Scott Wen focuses on product development for Chiron Investment Management.  Mr. Wen was formerly a Director of Quantitative Products and Research at Guggenheim Partners. Brian Cho, CFA, is a portfolio manager and Head of Quantitative Research for Chiron Investment Management.  In 2002, Mr. Cho co-founded Empirical Research Partners LLC, an independent research boutique where he served as Partner and Director of Quantitative Research. He managed all quantitative research efforts for the firm. During his tenure, the research team achieved the highest two rankings in the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team each year from 2003 through 2014 in both the Portfolio Strategy and Quantitative Research categories.
